AXAGON CLR-M2XT ALU is a passive aluminum cooler designed for intensive cooling of powerful NVMe M.2 SSD drives. The versatile passive heatsink can be used for M.2 cards, size 22 x 80 mm. The supplied thermally conductive pads allow the installation of a cooler for all one-sided and double-sided M.2 SSD disks.

Thanks to its total height of 24 mm and a passive height of 20 mm, the cooler can also be placed in a cabinet with limited space. Cross ribbing of the aluminum passive and metal frame optimize heat dissipation from the M.2 SSD, which can reduce the temperature of the drive by up to 30 °C. This extends the life of the SSD disk and prevents the disk speed from slowing down, the so-called “Thermal Throttling”.

The heatsink can be used not only with M.2 AXAGON adapters, but also with M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards, etc. Thanks to the large cooling surface and the metal frame, the heatsink ideally dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 disk and thus achieves maximum cooling efficiency. Due to its high cooling efficiency, this cooler is one of the most powerful cooler models of the AXAGON brand.
